Patchwork Dinners
...people are more important than things
The Patchwork Dinners are planned monthly dinners of eight or more persons who gather at a designated host’s home to share a meal, enjoy each other’s company, and build upon the body of Christ in our midst. Each evening’s dinner participants consist of the host family who provides entree and drinks, a co-host family who provides salad and dessert, a pair of assigned guests, and a pair or more guests of the host’s choosing. Each month’s dinners are hosted by different pairs. During the hot summer months, Patchwork dinners use a group-wide pot-luck picnic format.
The Patchwork Dinners help members become acquainted with others in the congregational community, and they provide an opportunity for new members and non-members to be introduced to the congregation. Contact Henry Howe (940) 323-8786 for more information.
